Letter 3/7/14

Dear Mom and everyone,
hahahaha I love the paragraph about the rubber gloves xD I showed all the sisters in my district lol I can totally imagine something like that happening and it's totally something Jade would come up with x) My P-Day is today, Friday, I leave for Kennewick on Tuesday March 11 around 10am and I think they let us call at the airport?? I hope Grandma Susan is doing well in her new house. I imagine Grandpa likes jammin around the tile in full rabbit speed lol I got the package and it made me cry seeing Mom's handwriting and those cookies and notes! I miss you guys so much! The cookies Shelly made were so good!!!! I think they're already gone lol Jon thank you for the letters, those jokes really helped lighten the mood. Every time you or my mom send a long letter or talk it comes as like 10 separate letters and my district is like holy cow why does your mom write so much?? Kylie's letter was so cute!!! I have the bracelet she made me hung up on my bunk :) I loved that her letter was inside a manila envelope with dad's handwriting lol it was like a letter from Dad and Kylie :) my friend Josh was in Utah this week and he sent me the coolest tye dye teddy bear ever!!!! And a bunch of stick on mustaches too, thank heavens I thought I would run out! hahah Mom it's called a Pazooki not a fazzooki xD um I really don't know about the receipts I think you could send them here? Oh! Btw I need my Chase card. It should have been mailed home by now and I need that extra money.
So Sister Ewell and I have made up new words to songs like the stripped sweater song from spongebob (Jade will know this one) and the beginning song from Tangled.
(spongebob stripped sweater)
the best time to wear a black name tag
is all the time
one that bears, the saviors name!
that's the kind!

(sang to the beginning tune from Tangled)
6:30am the usual morning line up,
jump in the shower and scrub till we're squeeky clean,
then off to breakfast with chocolate milk and bedrocks,
then to class and by then it's like 8 o'clock!
and so we'll read a verse or maybe 83
we'll study preach my gosple very diligently
and then we'll teach and teach and teach and basically
just wonder how many baptisms we'll see!

haha and this one goes to the gangnam/gangnam style
tea... tea.... teaching Jesus style!!!!! xD Mom you'd have to ask Jade to tell you how this song goes lol

So it's really weird and incredible how much you grow in just a week. when we first got here we were all scared and clueless and now....we're so awesome!!! like we look around and are like wow missionaries are so cool.....wait a minute....I'm so cool!!! We taught a TRC investigator which means a volunteer so she could be a real investigator maybe! =o our last lesson with Anna was so powerful. we taught her about the Book of Mormon and how much it can help her in her life and we got her not only committed to read it, but to be baptized when she found out it was true! Talk about double whammy! I love singing hymns, that is so weird I never thought I would but it's such a powerful way to invite the Spirit. Sister Ewell has grown so much, when we were first teaching she was unsure and doubting herself and saying negative things all the time. I made her a deal that every time she said something negative like uhhgg this is so hard, she had to say at least 2 positive things one about herself and one about something else. At the residence at night we all say a miracle that happened that day and sing and pray as like a family. That's what it feels like now because we're with each other 24/7 so we all know each other's dorky personalities, talents, weaknesses, strengths, previous jobs, stories about all our scars, those super awkward moments when something goes wrong but it's so funny, everything! Sister Ewell and I got called to be the Sister Training Leaders. So the new sisters in our zone, we welcomed them and explained all the rules and gave them a tour and comfort and it was kind of like being a YCL but for missionaries. I met a Zone that sits near us during lunch and they're all going to Fresno! there are so many Fresno bound missionaries! Elder King said he'd try and find people who know a Sister Standing, but most of my friends know me as Momo lol so any new missionaries you meet you should ask if they knew me because I met a lot headed your way! :D
haha so funny story...We had just finished teaching Jamie (our TRC investigator)
Sister Ewell: ok now we have Jim.
Me: Wait there's another one??
Ewell: No, we just have Jim now.
Me: But we just finished Jamie, did they assign another one?
Ewell: What are you talking about we're just going to Jim
Me: WHO'S JIM????
Ewell: Lol noooo not Jim, GYM! You know like exercise gym!
XD I was so confused I thought we had another investigator to teach lol

Well, I love you all. Keep my bed warm for me Jaxon!
